No account, ever
There is no sign-up. When the app first opens, our server issues an anonymous id that lives on that device. We never ask for an email address, phone number or password.
Privacy
MapMyMath is built for children, so the simplest privacy policy is the honest one: no accounts, no emails, no ads, no selling data. This page is everything we store and why.
There is no sign-up. When the app first opens, our server issues an anonymous id that lives on that device. We never ask for an email address, phone number or password.
Against that anonymous id: an optional first name or nickname (only used to greet the child), a school year, a chosen avatar, and the maths itself: questions answered, progress, stars and in-game rewards.
We show no advertising, sell no data and run no third-party marketing trackers. There are no leaderboards and no public profiles, so a child's progress is never shown to anyone else.
If the app crashes or breaks, we receive an automatic technical error report so we can fix it. These reports are about the software, not the child.
Good to know
Coins and chests are earned by doing maths. Nothing in the game can be bought with real money, so there is no payment data to collect.
The anonymous id is stored in the browser on the device. Clearing the browser's site data removes it. The child starts fresh, and the old progress is no longer linked to anyone.
